We recently had our house completed by GW Homes.

The site supervisor, Ben played a key role in making sure the build was finished on time, as we had a specific move-in date to meet. His approach to keeping things on track and addressing any issues that came up was. Communication was excellent throughout the process, and any questions or concerns were quickly addressed by Ben. The accounts team was also great to work with—transparent about invoices and any extra costs. I’d recommend GW Homes to anyone looking for a reliable and trustworthy builder.

We originally went with a big-name builder and were completely messed around—it was a stressful and frustrating experience. Making the switch to this incredible family-owned company was the best decision we made! From the very beginning, David and Mason were so supportive and reassuring, Mason helping us navigate the mess left behind. Ian, our site manager, was outstanding—he handled everything with professionalism and always kept up with my many calls, which I really appreciated! Huge thanks also to Heather and Roz in the office for their patience and kindness throughout the process.

Despite having to pick up the pieces from our previous builder, the whole team turned what felt like a nightmare into a genuinely enjoyable building experience. Their communication, delivery, and attention to detail were everything we hoped for. We’re beyond happy with the outcome and are already planning to use them for our second home. Highly recommend!

There are a lot of thoughts that go into choosing a builder to build, not only your house but your families home. In todays financial climate where builders go bust and leave houses unfinished, it is with great thanks and appreciation that we were recommended to GWHomes who were able to finish our first custom home to a high standard in Coorparoo.

From the start our block and build pointed to a custom house design due to some council building rules. But with the patient and competent help from Fiona and the team, obstacles were overcome to design our new home.

The process took longer than we expected but the care and attention to detail, in design and build made the time worth while. From the start Fiona guided us through the house design, all the options to add and then final selections of internal finishes. Slav, our building site manager, guided us through the various steps and stages of the build and gave us the opportunity to discuss the build with the tradesmen involved during multiple site visits and updates on Buildertrend..

The tradesmen GWHomes used on our build did an exceptional job and were easy to deal with.

There is no way to personally compare our build with another company, you only choose one builder in the end, and hope for the best outcome. GWHomes gave us that. The best possible outcome for our block, a home well built, whilst dealing with people whom you become friends with along the way.

And when we are ready for a second house to build, we know who to call…..GWHomes!

I was originally building my house with another builder, but due to their bankruptcy, QBCC selected GW Homes as the replacement builder. The site supervisor, Geoff, has been incredibly convenient by providing weekly updates with photos, detailing the progress of the construction. What impressed me the most was when water kept pooling at the back of the house, and we suspected a leak in the pipes. Geoff promptly investigated and found no leaks on our side. It turned out that the adjacent property had a higher ground level, causing rainwater to seep into our backyard. Thanks to Geoff’s expertise and the proper installation of stormwater drainage by GW Homes, the issue was resolved, and no more water pooling occurred. Although the construction period was extended due to the water pooling problem, GW Homes handled it meticulously.

I am extremely satisfied with the results. The construction process was smooth, and the attention to detail was impressive. The team was professional and responsive to all my inquiries. The quality of the workmanship is excellent, and I am enjoying my new home to the fullest. I wholeheartedly recommend GW Homes.

We have just finished a 6 month build on the north side of Brisbane on a sloping block (18 degrees) we can’t be happier with the whole team at GW homes, from Andrew and Matt down, their communication has amazing and the quality is better than we thought! The tradesman are amazing at their trades and take pride in everything they do and nothing is too hard for them.

Before we even brought the block we had Wayne, the designer out with us working out the design and he has been there every step of the way helping in anyway he can.
